CATHOLIC CHURCH
The Ladies of St. Mary's
We have been blessed with a Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW) since 2009, with women who have donated their time, talent, and treasure to follow the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW) mission:
“To encourage fellowship among the women of the parish and to provide opportunities for members to support the needs of our Parish, our community, and each other through spiritual, social, and economic activities.”
We wish to extend our mission to all the women of this Parish, to educate, help others in need and empower women to be the best version of themselves. We share what we do, we create a ministry Sunday, enrich prayer and spiritual life in our Parish and we find ways to help others in need such as Birthright, the food pantry in Lamar, the PSR, gifts for Baptisms, First Communion, and Confirmation, Toys for Tots, Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri and many more.
We offer our members: friendship, fun, relationships, and charity to others. We help our PCCW by fundraising through the Chamber of Commerce’s many events such as Truman Days and Wyatt Earp Days, Fish Fry, Garage Sale, Silent Auctions, and much more.
We share in everything we do to make the burden lighter for all in our Parish, and we wait for you to make the same commitment as we have done in the past 11 years. Join us! You will be happy you did.
