Holy Week 2024 Schedule

Holy week is coming up soon. Mark your calendar to join us on Holy Thursday (March 28) at 7 p.m., Good Friday (March 29) at 7 p.m., Holy Saturday (March 30) at 7 p.m., and Easter Sunday (March 31) at 9 a.m.

No PRS or Adult Bible Study this week

Due to Sprint Break, the PSR and adult bible study classes will not meet this week or next week. Classes will resume on March 24.

Adoration and Exposition

First Friday Blessed Sacrament Adoration and Exposition will be held on April 5, 2024 following the 6 p.m. Mass.

Meet Bishop Edward Rice

St. Mary's is a parish within the Diocese of Springfield-CapeGirardeau, led by The Most Reverend Edward M. Rice.

​

Ordained to the priesthood in 1987, Bishop Edward Matthew Rice most recently served the Archdiocese of St. Louis as Auxiliary Bishop from 2011 to 2016. Bishop Rice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and a Master of Divinity Degree. He was appointed the seventh Bishop of Springfield-Cape Girardeau on April 26, 2016 by his Holiness, Pope Francis. His Installation to the Church in Southern Missouri was June 1, 2016.
